My name is Sarah and at Lakefront Paws for a Cause, every animal I care for is treated like my own. This isn’t just a pet sitting and walking service for me, it’s a way to give back to the animals who give us so much. Seeing animals every day, both in loving homes and still waiting for one, has inspired me to help in any way I can.

When I’m not working or in school, I volunteer at the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC). Being at the shelter has shown me firsthand how important community support is from helping and supporting animals to supporting the community with more affordable vet services that MADACC provides for animals and their owners. I started Lakefront Paws for a Cause so I could earn extra income and use part of it to give back whether that’s buying enrichment items for the cats in the lobby, supplies for shelter animals or helping support the vital work MADACC does every day.

I truly love all animals, not just dogs and cats but overall animals have always been a huge part of my life and that love has only grown through my time volunteering and caring for pets of all kinds.
